Invitation to Become a Sponsor

We invite you to consider sponsorship for the first annual Hands Up! Volunteer Expo and Conference, to be held October 24th and 25th, 2008 at the Moncton Coliseum. Due to the lack of attendee entrance fees, the subsidized exhibitor booth fees, set-up and staff investment, we require funding to offset the costs of this event.
Hands-Up! Expo offers your organization three distinct opportunities:
· To showcase your support to thousands of volunteers as well as to those involved with southeast New Brunswick's community non-profit sector;
· To encourage individuals to volunteer, one of the critical resources needed for success in our community;
· To strengthen our non-profit organizations through educational seminars to be held at the conference with the aim of improving operational efficiencies and service delivery.
This is not an initiative related to a single organization involved in health, sport, public safety, the arts, culture, recreation, immigration, community service, seniors or youth. This is an innovative project that will provide an opportunity to support them all at once! Hands Up! Expo has all of the necessary ingredients to ensure increased volunteerism in our community. With your help, Hands Up! Expo, will initiate, promote, activate and celebrate volunteerism.
To ensure the success of Hands Up! Expo, two of the region's most influential non-profit organizations have joined the event's organizing committee: The Volunteer Centre of Southeastern NB and United Way of Greater Moncton and Southeastern NB Region Inc. Many other lead organizations related to the public, health, safety and educational sectors will also be actively participating. In a professional and high-energy venue like Hands Up!, community non-profit organizations will say thanks and volunteers will feel thanked.
